170 Guests on Round Dining Tables
Ant & Annie
Wedding Marquee Reception Petworth
More Wedding & Parties >
This wedding marquee in West Sussex, near Petworth, was for170 guests the bride and groom had a separate round drinks canopy for the standing reception which was used also as a bar later in the evening, with pretty lights. We really liked the guests seated on round dining tables but with the top table on a trestle run positioned so that all the guests could see the top table for the speeches.

Layout
The bride and groom decided on a round sailcloth marquee with no sides for the standing reception which had a lovely rustic bar inside and then their main reception marquee had a stage for the band, huge dance floor and round dining tables with a run of trestle tables for the top table.

Lighting
This was a very big wedding so Ant and Annie had a huge sailcloth canvas traditional tent with king poles in the middle of the marquee. We covered the roof of the marquee in fairy lights and down the king poles and there was a starlight roof lining over the dance floor end of the marquee with disco lighting for the dancing part of the reception.

Furniture
Ant and Annie’s guests were seated at round dining tables with Oak Cross back dining chairs and ivory seat pads. There was a run of trestle tables in the middle of the marquee for the top table which meant all the guests had a clear view of the top table for the speeches. We really like the personalised boxes for the florals on the dining tables.
