This fabulous family’s lovely daughter decided due to heavy April showers forecast on her wedding weekend, to have a separate reception drinks tent which we put sides on with flooring and heaters to have it cosy and warm for the guests. We then laid extra coconut matting pathways around the garden down to the main dinner and dancing tent which had beautifully covered trestle tables and luscious greenery and florals inside the tent. Particularly wonderful was the flower “orb” rigged in the middle of the tent and the foliage on the king poles. This wasn’t the weather we dreamed of for this family but the day was a resounding success and everyone stayed dry and warm all day.
Layout
The bride and groom chose long extra wide trestle tables for dining. We put a bar at the opposite end of the tent to the dance floor and band because the weather meant that guests needed to mill around during the dancing away from the fantastic sound the band made. It was a last minute change and worked really well.

Lighting
The family had fairy lights rigged in the whole roof of the canvas sailcloth tent which looked so pretty, they also had beautiful lighting on the outside of the marquee and we floodlit trees in the garden.

Furniture
This was our extra wide long trestle tables with limewashed chiavari chairs with ivory seat pads for a beautifully elegant and traditional wedding setting. There was a proper bar at the opposite end of the dance floor and band for the night time party.
