We loved providing the sailcloth marquee for Jake’s 21st birthday which took place near Wormley in Surrey within covid guest restrictions so there were 30 guests for a black-tie seated party with a tropical twist.
Layout
We put up an extra big canvas circular sailcloth tent for Jake’s party to give the guests extra room, all the sides of the marquee were off for the whole party. There was a stage for the amazing DJ and a big dance floor as the guests all wanted to dance until the early hours.  They were seated at round dining tables on cross back oak chairs with a natural-coloured seat pad.

Lighting
Jake wanted a tropical theme to his party, so we put in a night sky black out starlit cloth in the whole roof of the tent and then we spot lit each of the dining tables to give a lovely light for the seated part of the party. Then when the disco got going, there were fantastic disco lights rigged at the sides of the dance floor.

Jake chose 5’ round dining tables and had 6 guests on each of the round tables, he chose oak cross back chairs with a natural coloured seat pad and the whole effect worked really well with floor length damask tablecloths and elegant crockery and glass wear.
